I find it amazing that:
- an egg that has been sitting around in my ovary since before I was born managed to become "active" and was used to half-create Doof
- my body protected and
nourished him for 9 months
- my breasts which have done nothing for the last 30 years somehow were able to produce enough
milk in the last 5 months to allow me to breastfeed him and double his weight
It's easy to accept
things at face value and not really question anything. But the more I think
about what my body has created from effectively nothing, the more and more
amazed I become.
Every one of us
really is amazing.
