D
and Iz loved free-playing with their rainbow spaghetti (here) but I
wanted to let D have fun doing something slightly different too... So he painted with it :)
All
you need is some cooked spaghetti (we used some of our rainbow-coloured
strands but you could use regular plain stuff), some paint and a piece
of paper!
This
is great for fine motor control/finger manipulation. You can also use
it as a colour recognition exercise or just a fun way to express
yourself with paint.
D
loved the "wiggly worms" and had lots of fun "changing" their colours
by dunking them in the paint. And his end picture is pretty cute :)

Have you painted with pasta? You can buy such cool shapes now I can definitely see us repeating this activity many times over!
